Youth Ministry
encouraging teens to be exemplary believers (1 Timothy 4:12)
"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
Our teens (6th - 12th grade) meet on Wednesday nights for game time and Bible study. Teaching focuses on applying the Scripture in specific ways to the lives of teens. We play, sing, pray, and study the Bible. We have two classes for Bible study, divided into Jr and Sr High grades. Our young people also have regular activities, fellowships, outreach and camping opportunities.
Outreach
Nursing Home Ministry. On the fourth Sunday of every month we have lunch together at church after the morning service and then go to a nearby nursing home to encourage the residents with fellowship, hymn singing, special music, and a short Bible message. This is a great opportunity for teens to exercise their God-given abilities in various ways.
Other outreach opportunities include canvassing the neighborhoods prior to our annual Cola Wars and VBS events, visiting shut-ins, taking meals to new mothers or people recovering from surgery, and going on mission trips.
Fellowships
Youth fellowships are informal "testimony & snack" times for the teens to share with each other what God is doing in their own hearts. It is always fun to get together after an evening service or nursing home ministry, relax with some snacks, sing some choruses, and share testimonies!

Some of our favorite activities include snow tubing, bike hikes, Cola Wars, summer camp, corn mazes, the "Turkey Bowl", and the annual White Elephant Christmas Party!
